Commission Policy Updates

At SHOPLINE, we are committed to empowering merchants and continuously enhancing our platform to ensure a robust and sustainable ecosystem for your business growth. As part of our efforts to provide improved services, we are introducing a commission fee structure, effective from January 15, 2024.

Understanding the Fees Changes:
SHOPLINE Payments’ transaction fees will remain unchanged, no further commission fees will be imposed on it.
Third-party gateways are classified as non-SHOPLINE Payments payment providers that provide integrated payment processing for your business through the SHOPLINE platform. Hence, merchants will be charged a transaction fee of up to 2% on transactions processed through third-party payment gateways, depending on their plan type.
Commission Fees will be applied to transactions processed using payment gateways that are not integrated with SHOPLINE — including but not limited to Bank Transfer, Cash on Delivery, offline custom payments, manual PayNow, manual Visa (POS), manual Master (POS) and manual Amex (POS) and similar methods.

Please note:
  • This is not an exhaustive list of payment methods. SHOPLINE reserves the right to update, edit, add, or remove payment methods from time to time at its own discretion.
Order Validation Rules:
  • Orders paid via Custom Payment Methods and Cash on Delivery (COD) are considered valid when the order’s shipment status is marked as ‘Shipped’.
  • For all other payment methods, orders are deemed valid once the payment status is ‘Paid’.
Any refunds or cancellations made to orders may not result in a reversal of commission fees. Cash payments made at Point-of-Sale are currently excluded from further fees but are subject to review by SHOPLINE.

Invoicing and Payment Schedule:

All fee invoices will be issued on a monthly basis. To avoid service disruption or potential account closure, please ensure payment is made within 7 days of invoice issuance. For a smoother experience and to prevent unexpected closures, we recommend linking a credit card for automatic fee payments.
Binding a Credit Card
Below illustrates the steps required to ensure that a credit card is bound to the SHOPLINE 2.0 system. Full FAQ can be found here.
In the Admin, go to [Settings] > [Plan]. Click Add a credit card and a window will pop up. Enter the Card Number, Cardholder's Name, Expiration Date, and Security Code. Check the box to accept the service agreement and then click Save.
When binding a credit card, a USD$1 test deposit will be made for card verification. It will be refunded to you in 7 working days afterwards.
Each store can bind a maximum of 15 credit cards. One of the cards can be selected as the default.
Alternative Payment Methods
If you would require to pay via alternative payment methods, you may process it via bank transfer too. However, please take note that this would require our Finance team’s verification which may take 1-2 working days. If the payment is not able to be verified by the end of the commission payment deadline, the account may face temporary closure until payment is verified.

Note: SHOPLINE Singapore no longer offers the Standard Plan to new users moving forward from the date of this update. However, existing Standard Plan users will still be able to renew their plan.
